For well over 100 years, First American has prided itself in specializing in building successful partnerships with home builders, real estate agents, and mortgage lenders. In the early part of 2004, First American extended it's partnership reach to include the minority and low to moderate income community itself as a partner vital to the mission of closing the gap in Homeownership among minority and low-to-moderate income families.
The First American community partnership program is made up of two components listed below.
Corporate Giving
Corporate Giving: First American awards grants to organizations, companies and programs that are directly involved in the increase of homeownership for minority, new immigrant, and low to moderate income families.

Habitat for Humanity

Community Investments
Ten percent of First American's net new investment capital is earmarked for investing in projects that create affordable housing for minority, new immigrant, and low to moderate income families.
